Mission Market Orlando

A Food Ministry of Catholic Charities of Central Florida

Who We Are

Mission Market Orlando, formerly Semoran Food Pantry, is a choice food pantry set up like a farmer’s market where families “shop” for fresh fruits, vegetables and more that best meet their nutritional and personal preferences.

Walking in the door, the first thing you see is the wooden fruit stands chock-full of red and green apples, bright orange citrus, green peppers and  tomatoes.  Large grain sacks decorate the walls and a large sign overhead reads “Welcome to our farm.” Shelves are loaded with a variety of breads, canned goods and even avocados and potatoes. No, this is not a farmer’s market, but that is the feel that Catholic Charities of Central Florida was after when we set out to transform our food pantry into a Mission Market.

How to Help

Join our mission by becoming a volunteer or hosting a food drive with your friends and family! We are always in need of food donations. Every box, bag or can of food makes a difference.

Our shelves are stocked by donations from generous supporters including local schools, churches, groceries and Second Harvest Food Bank. Volunteers help keep our market running by sorting food and helping us greet guests, fill their shopping carts and more. Click here to learn more about how you can help.
