Programs and Services

Family Stability Program

The Family Stability Program has three goals: serve the working poor who experience a crisis and are seeking financial assistance to remain in their homes, provide important resources to people in need who are facing the threat of eviction or other crisis and provide services that are convenient for people in need to access.

Pathways to Independence

Pathways to Independence is a nine-month transitional housing program in Seminole County for homeless single women ages 18 and above who need emotional support and case management to make the transition to self-sufficiency. It is a continuation of the care they receive at Pathways to Care, a short-term recuperative care facility for homeless adults who are recovering from an illness or injury. Pathways to Independence helps residents find and maintain employment, focus on self-improvement and stability, learn money management and locate permanent housing.

Lakeland Activity Center for Seniors

The Lakeland Activity Center for Seniors provides a balanced program of nutrition, exercise, recreation and other health related services to men and women over 55 to help meet their needs as they age. Through a partnership with Polk County Fellowship Dining, the center offers weekday lunches to seniors 60 and older for $1 daily.

St. Joseph Garden Courts is a non-denominational rental housing community in Orange County with 79 one bedroom apartments designed to provide safe and affordable housing for low income seniors age 62 years or older. Residents are encouraged to be self-sufficient and to be physically and mentally active.

St Anthony Garden Court is an affordable 51-unit housing community in Osceola County for people age 55 and older. The community consists of one, two and three bedroom apartments. Residents are encouraged to keep physically and mentally active by participation in social development programs.
