Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis. Available dates are below. We hope that splitting the Adult course into 2 days will make it easier for staff to step away from their other responsibilities to attend training.

Part One: 2 hours on your own, online, must be completed before taking Part Two

Part Two: 4.5 hours with Instructors from Behavioral Health Services, via Zoom

To register, or if you have any questions, please contact Kyle Osborn at kosborn@cflcc.org
